NON-TANF what does the tanf mean in this word? is it an acronym? or short for something like transferable?

this term is used by the state tax department, and/or welfare dept., and written at the end of a figure, example: $114.34 (NON-TANF) thanks!

TANF = Temporary Assistance for Needy Families = Welfare. It means that whatever the payment was it isn't classified as welfare and is probably therefore taxable.
