Okay there is this guy I know and we are kind of friends, but not at the same time.
We talk as friends, but don't hang out out of school very often at all.
Anyways, He's one of my best friend's best friend. And I think he likes me, but he sends mixed signals.
In class, I notice he'll sometimes look at me, and when we catch each other looking we don't always turn away sometimes we just kinda smile then look away.
And alot of times in class he'll say something outloud and I'll laugh and he'll look at me and we'll do that smiling thing again.
And when we are with a group of people he seems to direct jokes at me, but not all the time. And one time I was with my best friend [who he dosent like all that much] and her boyfriend [who he dosent really know] and he was talking to us the whole time, but it was mainly me he was talking to.
But sometimes I'll see him in the halls at school and we'll see each other and talk, and other times we walk past each other and he dosent even look at

me.

I feel that I am really good at predicting how guys feel about me and stuff. [I have never been wrong]
And I think he does like me.

I'm thinking of asking my friend if he does, but I dont want anyone to know if I like him until.
1] I can flirt with him on my own without anyone knowing.
and 2] My best friend hates him...

Your ability to read guys, is actually an ability to emphasise based on their actions, which is quite mature of you, GO YOU! The problem is that this happens in ever highschool thousands of times, maybe even a couple of times in your own class. Were to individuals "Crush" on each other, but neither has the gutso, the fortitude, the drive, the confidence, to talk to the other and make it so. So sort of like when a tree falls in the woods and no ones their to hear it, does it make a sound? Well guess what it doesn't matter, so unless one of you gets gutzy this whole ordeal is cute, but doesn't matter. But as you can see, the meaning of the interaction is up to you, ether you let it go into oblivion, or you bring it into reality, talk to the boy.
