the other day my sister and i were in the parking lot, and there was this guy doing the recycle bins, she asks me " does he look blurry to you" ( she had didnt remember if she put her contacts in or not and wanted confirmation) I inturn answered, that doesnt make any sense what you are asking me, the answer does not make any difference with the outcome. IF i had answered yes he was blurry, that means i have an eye sight problem. if i answered no than i don;t have a problem, both are indpendant from her, and does not answer her question of whether or not she had her contacts in or not, so it was i think. now my question is, is eyesight vision and depth some how correlated?

She should have asked you if you could read something. If you could read a car's license plate with no problem, and she could not, that would mean she didn't have her contacts in.

To answer your main question: Eyesight between two people is the same. If you can read something well and your vision is 20/20, she should be able to read it well too. If it's a complete blur to her, then she is seeing HER normal 20/300 or 20/400, and needs her contacts or glasses to read 20/20.

It's not like taste. Like I love salmon, and my husbands dislikes it. I guess our tastebuds are different. The correlation with eyesight, however, is the same. I hope I answered your question!!

Interesting question deserves a star!! :)

You can't compare your vision to someone else's for many reasons. One being visual perception between people is different. Imagine two people with identical vision, a stubborn person that doesn't want to accept they need glasses can easily say they see great while a picky person can say they can't see anything.

Another reason is that not everyone sees 20/20. Some people are better than 20/20 and see 20/15 and will see better farther away. There are also people that can't see 20/20 even with glasses and won't be able to see as far as others.

And yes, visual acuity and depth perception are related. If something is blurry, how do you expect to tell how far away it is accurately?

Me thinks you consider an excessive amount of. I experience Blues and in which did that originate? Also experience jazz and in which did that originate? Both of those are regarded prime forehead. I cherished the early Beetles and as their song was once global extensive I understand if I was once making a song one among their songs any one the world over might be making a song it. Their song introduced the sector in combination and every age. Not even classical song does that, despite the fact that I experience a few classical. Music will have to now not be a project however a refection of emotions of the time, the second. You might now not have identified the excellent musical technology of the 50s and 60s. The global was once wealthy in song of all kinds.

yes, i agree with ladylynn. vision is TOTALLY SUBJECTIVE. what is/isnt blurry to one person is not necessarily the same for someone else.
