The bible says, "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. The word "nothing" is not used. It is simply understood that He started with nothing.
The key word is "create" – to cause to come into being.

He did not create the universe out of nothing. He was there and he is not nothing. Then he spoke his word and said let light be and light was, etc. He created it out of his word.

CREATED OUT OF HIS MOUTH
GOD SPOKE IT INTO BEING
BY HIS WORD........

second part of the question is not clear.
In Arabic one of the name of God is "Al Badie" The originator, which means one who creates out of nothing.
BTW, God is not christian.
