Only by yourself. You can't help what another person is going to do or feel. You can't force someone else to love you, period. To even try pushes you into a state of mental illness that requires a professional to help you with. Until you focus on what you can do for yourself, health wise, job wise, life wise, apart and aside from anyone else, you won't find someone who will really love you for you. Learning to let go is the hardest lesson anyone can have in their life.

Depends... can't blame it all on love, now, can we? What ever is written in fate is bound to happen. There will be people in this world who hate you enough to kill you and others that love you enough to take their own life for you. It all comes down to a person's perspective. Indeed, it can be annoying, no doubt. But, sometimes it seems like an annoyance at first and grows into true love afterward.

It has annoyed me in the past. I'm just trying to be nice, be friendly like usual to anybody and BOOM someone's in love with me. It does annoy me but if it's a guy it's expected. Unfortunately you can't be too nice to a guy or they will absolutely take it the wrong way. Keep yourself guarded and keep your kindness limited.

Depends on how long they have known you.
If they introduced themselves to you, and a short while later came out with this, chances are that is how they felt from the beginning. If you are not attracted to them, be nice, but clear, and let them know you are not interested. They might be playing you, so don't let them make you feel guilty.
If you have known them for awhile, then it is more complicated, but still, you should not feel guilty for not being attracted to someone.
Keep in mind, you might change your attitude about this person later on, so don't burn any bridges, unless you absolutely have to.

It's not annoying so much as heartbreaking. I've had this happen before, and when the feelings aren't reciprocated, it just causes pain to both people.
What is ANNOYING is when they persist and make you feel guilty (or at least try to) for not feeling the same way. THAT always pissed me off. That's when you just have to walk away.

I guess I wouldn't be annoyed; just wonder what I did wrong that may have misled them. Be careful of someone that falls like that though, tread gently on that heart.

This happened to me. I fell for a girl who was just a friend. It sucks. What I can say is tell him straight how you feel/don't feel. Dont lead him on. Honesty can hurt, but wasting a year of your life chasing a girl who is pretending hurts much more.

the same thing has happened to me. as long as the person doesnt take it to an extreme & stalk you or something, then ignore it. its not very nice to flaunt your rejection of this person's feelings. but tell them first that while you are flattered, you just dont feel the same way about them.
