i don't agree with illegal immigration, no matter what country you're from. the focus is on the word ILLEGAL. but how can we deny medical help to a sick child who is here by someone elses choice?

The children of our armed forces are not in certain states by their own choice; but our government denies them in state tuition when their parents are stationed in new states, moved constantly, etc. and they don't meet the residency requirements. Meanwhile, illegal aliens get in state tuition.

Life isn't fair is it?

I wouldn't deny anyone life saving measures.

But other than that....my tax dollars pay for public healthcare for american citizens.

We are a land of humane people. I would hope. Treat the child set up medical services in their home country if need be and make sure they get there as swiftly as possible. If it's a lingering type illness. Any emergency obviously would be treated. If their country as some don't, have medical facilities to treat the child, Temporary visa's ARE available for them all. I can't remember the name of them.

Hmm, doesn't America deny millions of THEIR OWN CITIZENS medical help everyday?

You know, the ones which do not have adequate health insurance, why should illegals be any different?

Don't get me wrong, I am all for treating a sick child, heck if I could afford it then I would pay out of my own pocket, but why should should the case be any different from what I mentioned?

We are treating sick children of illegals everyday all over the states. Our own children are paying the price because our government and certain people are making it such a big issue to treat these children. Remember after your children are taken care of, do you start looking for some others countries children to take care of. Sounds bad, not really, the American youth are the future of America, don't put a burden on them for the lack of another country to take care of their children.

Why should we when our own children suffer?? Why should I pay for their mistakes, no one pays for mine, I am sick of the ****, I pay taxes, I have sacraficed to go to college, I barely can afford insurence, but I can not afford to go to the doctor because all my money is on the premium, bills, and food, and I can not afford the 500 deductable and co-pay. And you ask why I have to pay 25% of my check for insurence, because of the illegals whom do not pay, so I say tuff **** to them. If I do not pay for them through my high premiums, then I pay for them through my tax dollars, poor law breaking people, and now you know. So, if you still feel we can not deny medical help to the lawbreakers, then please send me a check the next time My child gets sick and I do not have the money because I am paying for the illegals.

We don't have to deny care. We can bus or even medivac them to Mexico (where most of them are from) for much less than an emergency room visit costs in the US. We already have enough uninsured people in this country.

We don't deny medical help to sick children, nor should we.

Don't change the subject. Illegal is still illegal.

Identify the parents, treat the child, when stabalized, deport them back to there country of origin. Harsh, no. They are here illegally.

pulling on our heartstrings is not the way to debate policy. there are laws which need to be enforced. do we not send people to prison for stealing because they are mentally unstable. ofcourse we do. we have laws for a reason. sympathy can be dealt out by the churchs. societies need laws and the enforcement of them to survive. or we'll all go broker and become criminals ourselves. remember the wild west and the american revolution. must we go back to those days. i say not at all. we have a great country who can fix those sick folks but then send them back.
