I am most grateful for God as He has not given up on me and I, with Him, got to know how to really enjoy life. I credit Him to all GOOD things!
I am grateful for my furry best friends, my one feline and my great-aunt's felines, my little pumpkin (my child), my spiritual gifts, churches I can belong to, my parents are still living, my bro, I am not diabetec yet despite me going sugar-crazy. I am gateful for those on Y/A! who seek to add me to their contacts, and those I seek to add and they add me back! I am even grateful for your existance! :-)
But I am most grateful for the spiritual knowledge I gained this year on how to really spend quality time with God!

I usually go to my parents, but I now live far from them, and had just seen them a couple weeks ago, so I'm going to just be at home. My pumpkin and my feline!

Peace also with you!

A year ago this time, I was living in an apartment that I thought was very nice; I was dealing with severe depression. Around February 2007, I found out that my apartment complex was going condo, and that I'd have to move when my lease was up (end of July). I was dreading it.

Now, I'm in a very good apartment - not as "fancy" as the one I was in, but I like it much better. I back up onto a wooded hillside instead of a very hot black-topped parking lot; I have a place to put out bird-feeders, and have all sorts of animals coming to my door in the evenings. My new place has lots of south-facing windows, and my depression is being helped ENORMOUSLY by plenty of light (I live near Seattle where it's often very cloudy in winter), and a small dose of anti-depressant medications. I have good neighbors who speak to each other and interact, and there are children in the complex, which is a joy!

Shalom, and happy Thanksgiving!

I thank God/Jesus all the way!
This year was especially blessed for us.
My first grandson;
A really nice trip to Orlando, (I even met Wolverine face to face there at Isle of Adventure);
My husband has been offered his dream job and will be taking it some time next year;
My autistic sons have made significant progress in speech and social skills;
and my husband won $20,000 from a stupid scratch-off ticket!

As for what I do for Thanksgiving, I cook the meal! Every year! For twenty-six years straight!
I'm tired of cooking the meal! I would like to go to one of my kid's homes and let them cook for ounce!
Maybe next year, I'll have Thanksgiving at the casino buffet instead!

Pray,cook, spend time with family, call friends and check on them, Yada yada. I'm thankful for all God's done and all he is still doing. I actually believe in a Higher Power or Higher Self, God is so much easier to say. Happy Holidays and Peace to you as well.

Oh, and chocolate, cannot forget that.
On Thanksgiving we have our HUGE family over, and I watch the little ones and help prepare the meal.

I am thankful for my husband, my 4 beautiful children and all our health. And most of all I'm thankful for God and our Church.

On Thanksgiving Day this year we are going to my grandma's. On Friday we go to my In-Law's.

I grew up in a christian family, but recenlty I have dropped that and put my faith in Buddhism. i don't believe in a "God" (definately not the white, male version we've come up with! jk!), just an all-spirit (like the Hindu.....?). I just am loving myself for seeing this in me and my friends for supporting me all the way. No offense to anyone, this is just what I believe.
