Is god power limitless ? Or are there limits ?
Are there forces that were created not by god ? That existed prior to Him ? ( apart from flying spaghetti monster )
Was god the creator behind Evil ?

Some of you are saying that god created things and allow them to create things that he did not create himself ?
So, through Evil (that god did not create? ), man can do things outside of god control ?
There is a limit to what god can touch or do ?

Or - if you apply the mathematic concept of sets, are you considering that god, creating the set of all there is in the universe, is therefore also the creator behind evil,
and the root cause for it therefore ?

God has no beginning and no end -- therefore, nothing ever existed before God. By the same token, nothing has ever been created that God did not create:

John 1:1-3,14 "In the beginning the Word already existed; the Word was with God, and the Word was God. From the very beginning the Word was with God. Through him God made all things; not one thing in all creation was made without him. ... The Word became a human being and, full of grace and truth, lived among us. We saw his glory, the glory which he received as the Father's only Son."

The things man has made are not creations. God Created from Nothing (except for Man and Woman). When man makes something, man must start with what God has already created.

Psalm 33:9 "When he spoke, the world was created; at his command everything appeared."

Hebrews 11:3 "It is by faith that we understand that the universe was created by God's word, so that what can be seen was made out of what cannot be seen."

Lastly, evil is not a creatable thing -- it is a concept, the antithesis of good (another concept). There was no evil until it was found in the heart of Lucifer.

Ezekiel 28:15 "Your conduct was perfect from the day you were created until you began to do evil."

I'm kindof inbetween an agnostic and christian at the moment...so my opinions are relatively unbiased. But here's my idea: if there is a God, then he is "the supreme being" and there is no one or thing above him. He is kind of like the Universe. Of course, this is a hard thing to understand by us lowly humans. Also, this would mean that he also created evil. This goes into the whole idea of "if there is no evil in the world, then people would never have the chance to be good because there would be no choice...they would all simply "be" "

God created everything. Nothing was created without God. Man has created things with his creations. And he didn't create evil, per say. He DID create the KNOWLEDGE of evil (tree of knowledge of good and evil). He created everything perfect. Man, with his free will chose evil and spread it around.

God is omnipotent, but the definition of the term originally is that the tyhings the do must be possible, and that it must be in their character to do so.

I.e God cannot sin.

Also, God did not create sin as he says all he created was good.

I believe evil is "the absence of God's presence."
For instance, God chooses to not be in Hell, therefore Hell is evil.

Well, there are the Great Old Ones. Powerful beings of cosmic evil that are beyond the reach of both space and time, whose insane whims form countless abominations and monstrosities that would rip the very fabric of space, time, and sanity of those who would dare to gaze upon such unholy terror.
