Why did the government lie about the 'war on drugs'?

The CIA (Corruption In America) is responsible for trafficking illegal drugs into inner cities like South Los Angeles. California Congresswoman Maxine Waters took trips to drug infested countries like Nicaragua to see what the CIA is doing to fight drug trafficking into the US, nothing at all. 'There is no war on drugs going on in America today', she said. She is now doing everything she can to fight drug trafficking into South LA. Actually, Barry Seal (largest drug dealer in American history, and CIA agent) admitted to US judges that he had flown tens of thousands of pounds of illegal drugs into the US for the government. No wonder the CIA had him assassinated. He even explained how he did it. Seal owned several farms in Louisiana. He would fly guns and ammo down to Columbia and then bring drugs back into the US. He would fly over his farms and drop the cocaine-filled duffle bags with parachutes onto his property. Busted. Why did our government lie about the 'war on drugs'?

It is done to perpetuate and continue the cooperate and political greed profiteering. Generally directed on the expense of humankinds advancement. From the drug industry, through the stifling of immense hidden energy sources available, to any and all possibilities to improve life for the average and common person. The United States government in specific is NOT FOR IT!! This coming 2nd American Revolution is being brought on by this own self serving, lying, and deceitful government. One which is neither BY, or for the good people of this country! Like Thomas Jefferson said: "every so often, the tree of liberty must by watered by the blood of it's patriots". Our American cretean politicians have both forgotten, and ignored this unavoidable socio-political law, the basic one which allows for the continuation of any sustainable democracy! And continuing to elect to office, these same mindless and spineless political clones of the past, will only hasten the inevitability of Jeffersons' knowledable words of Forefatherly wisdom!

You'd have to be an idiot to not believe that Republicans make an effort to get into Law Enforcement in order to convict Black people of drug offenses, giving them a criminal record and taking away their right to vote for a Democrat. This may sound like a 'conspiracy theory,' but doesn't it just sound so very logical? I personally don't care, though. They could easily remedy the situation by not taking drugs, or selling them.

Elements in the Government make a job out of lying. The name of the "war" is in and of itself a lie. This War on Drugs is more aptly named "The War on personal freedom".

What's funny is you're taking the word of a single congresswoman as to what the CIA is or is not doing. Did you even wonder who guided her during these trips? Did you ever wonder about her intelligence collecting methods: who she talked to, exactly what areas she went into? You're also taking the word of a criminal! You need to practice better character judgement.

Actually, the military DID find WMD's in Iraq. The media chose not to cover those findings because those findings are not anti-Bush enough.
