What 'it' is

In my community, many working families needs help with their prescriptions co payments the "it" issue(s) to be addressed is prescription coverage for working families of children with special health care needs. I came to that decision based on my experience as a single parent with a child with special health care needs. At the time I did not qualify for medicaid since I exceeded the income limit. I had to struggle with my daughter's prescription co payments on a monthly basis. The bills were over $150.00 per month. Most of the time, I had to borrow money from families because I was unable to cover them all; they were too expensive. Many families go through the same struggle like myself. I therefore want to take that opportunity to help a few working families who may go through the same hardship with their child's prescription co-payments.
