Nothing. It will just make the dog vomit if she got too much. Soap wont hurt the dog. She may get the runs and vomit. That's all. Get ready to clean up.

Hi I am a vet nurse. Dogs quite often get into soap, seems to be the texture they like more than the taste. It's a small amount so don't panic. She may bring it up on her own, or it might just give her messy poo for a bit. You can call your vet just for a chat you know, they don't mind at all. If you want to safely make her vomit at home, we use washing soda crystals, just a few on the tongue will do the trick. But call your vet and ask, it doesn't cost much. Good luck!! Save the soap in the mouth for children that swear!!

Don't freak out! My cat ate some soap once and I flipped running to the vets acting hysterical ya da ya da. Give her some water, but nothing else for 1 day (or if she looks better give her a tiny bit of her regular food) then she should digest the soap by then. If she still doesn't look good take her to the vet. It's not a big deal.

I wouldn't worry to much. Dogs have iron stomachs, lol. They can stomach more than we can. Your pup will probably leave a mess for you though. Check with your vet to be safe. Good luck and pet the pooch for me.

soap is nontoxic (people used to make it from wood ash and bacon grease for pity sake) but it can cause a case of the runs....

I would call the vet and look what's in the soap if you can. Just call to be sure.

Call and ask your vet. The vet knows your dog, we do not.

she'll be fine....if you are really worried, give her ONE piece of bread, sometimes it will adhear to the object and help her pass it. She'll probably drink a lot of water, so take her out often!! :)
