I didn't want to be an atheist. I had to be one, because it made sense. There was no choice, at least for me.

You don't even see the contradiction in your question. How can a belief system based purely on belief be reasonable?

Science is not about belief. Science is based on data. When the data suggests that gravity pulls us towards the centre of the earth it is not a belief!

Belief defies reason. Belief requires some sort of faith. When scientists go down the road of belief they lose their integrity and their work loses its integrity too.

I have done some research on a lot of different beliefs and religions.

I go by only what makes sense to me.

All religions are man made after all.

I do not expect anyone to agree with me, nor am I right and they are wrong.

It is only wrong when a person claims to have all the answers because no one knows anything for sure.

Beliefs, by their nature, are not reasonable since they are unprovable. If a person indulges in beliefs, then those are going to become personal in time. We carry on an endless dialog in our heads/brains, especially when we are alone, and those conversations are filled with imagination and fantasy. We re-interpret those litanies or doctrines which have been taught, and ultimately, our beliefs can not be separated from who we are, regardless of what we have been told to believe.

I'm doing my 100% best to follow all of God's laws 100 %. Jesus said to do the best one can and I do this. What God and Jesus say is what I want to do and it is reasonable to me. I certainly prefer God's laws over man's laws. I keep God's and the required laws that man has made for me to live on earth. My belief is a joy to me and not a burden.

I don't. I follow beliefs according to what God tells us. I don't always follow them perfectly and sometimes I choose to not follow them (sin), but generally I follow them.

If you didn't follow beliefs according to how you want to follow them, they wouldn't be beliefs of yours. Dumb question.

Um mm, I'd have to say that I'm reasonable about how I follow my beliefs.

I certainly do. I only chose a believe because I really wanted something to believe in. I certainly don't follow standard practices or rules. I do it my own way.

I'll admit I do believe certain things because its what I want to believe. However, when we get down to the nitty gritty, I'm an atheist, because there's no evidence.
