Healthy eating doesn't have to mean complicated eating. Keep meal preparation easy, eat more raw foods such as salads and vegetable juices, and focus on the pleasure of eating healthy food rather than the calories.

If you feel tired in the afternoon, reach for fruits, veggies or a high protein snack rather than sweets, which actually rob your body of energy.
Stop eating when you feel full. This will help you remain alert, relaxed and feeling your best.
A healthy diet can help you feel better, provide you with more energy, and help you fight stress.

Food is the mainstay of many social and cultural events. Not only does it provide nutrition, it helps facilitate connections between people. Cooking fresh, healthy meals can also be an enjoyable way to spend time, either on your own or with others.

I use my crockpot a lot! Instead of putting stuff like cream of chicken soup and bbq sauce, I will just put chicken and veggies, like carrots, potatoes, onions, etc and this is a quick, easy meal. Also, take some time early in your week and make a huge salad that you can just use throughout the week. I will also cook a bunch of brown rice and freeze it in small bags for quick stir fry meals. A foreman grill is great. I use mine a lot to grill fish or chicken and add a cooked veggie on the side. Try and keep your foods as whole as possible. It does take time, but try making things in advance when you do have the time and that helps a lot!

Salads, steamed fresh vegetables and grilled meats are easy and quick to prepare. Snacks should be raw fruits, nuts, yogurt or high-fiber foods. Try to avoid junk food by taking snacks when you go out to the movies etc. That will keep you from being tempted to eat the high fat/sugar fast foods.

When you are craving:

Sweets have fruit such as an apple

Tarts have raspberries

Icecream make a protein shake with fruit

Candy bar have a kashi granola bar

You may want to stay away from the protein bars and nutrition bars because they do contain staurated fat. Try to have "whole foods."

Good Luck!

You can always eat any kind of vegetaable or fruits in stead of junk food when you wanna snack, and for lunch you should always include a vegetable and not a lot of rice or whatever the side food is.
