she started this today. She is just laying around, breathing slightly heavier than normal. She won't drink her water, she just sits and stares at it. She has white foamy saliva coming from her mouth at times. She's just not herself. She won't play around or anything. Her stools are very loose as well. Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be wrong with her? We are only fostering her from a rescue shelter and could use any suggestions anyone has.

Well?
You asked that 2 days ago and SOMETHING should have been done for her by now.
Was it a gastro-enteritis, or a poison, or a blockage in her digestive tract? Or WHAT?

Contact the rescue organization. If they are a responsible shelter, they will have her checked by the vet and foot the bill. If they refuse to do so, I would still strongly advise taking her to a vet. You can try to work out a payment plan or discount since it is indeed a foster dog. Best of luck.

These are the signs of a very sick dog, and you must get her veterinary care right away. The fact that she's refusing water is especially a concern because animals can become dehydrated very quickly, and if she isn't rehydrated she could die. The vet will do this by injecting fluids under the skin. You can't treat this at home. Call the rescue organization. They can tell you who their vet is, and you can take her there.

She sounds seriously sick. She needs to be seen by a vet as soon as possible. Since she's a rescue that you are fostering, the rescue group should have a vet to take her to, and I believe it's their bill. They are supposed to ensure she's in good health.

Get her to the vet ASAP it could be any number of things. If you let it go too long it could wind up being something really serious and cost you even more money or worse cost the dog her life.

Contact the shelter and find out what vet they use, then advise them that you are taking the dog there....this sounds serious, try to get her there ASAP.
