it they are perfect then its simply because they know lighting and photography - 3 years full time study will do it
like michael jordan give him cheap shoes and he would still be brilliant - cameras are just tools like lights - use them well and great results are produced

I would not call those images perfect for starters.
But, a "perfect" image requires knowledge in a variety of factors in photography.
First off, you should know about reciprocity. Meaning shutter speed, aperture, and ISO. Not to mention the layout and functions of the camera.
A good photographer also has knowledge on how to get the "perfect" image. This includes composition, rule of thirds, texture, contrast, direction, hidden shapes, color, subject matter, depth of field, lighting, and many others. Knowing this, and a bit of luck, combines to make a great image.
