God Bless.

Gay. Nothing against Muslims, but I am in school to become a rabbi, and I hope my children will join me in my love of Judaism and Torah in all its aspects.
Of course, I am gay myself and I know that it is not an easy life, and (as my father said when I came out to him), no parent wants to see their child have a difficult life ahead of them. I have to say that part of me truly hopes that my children are straight, so that they will never have to be afraid as I sometimes have.
That said, every life has its own difficulties, and whoever my child turns out to be--gay, straight, bisexual, male, female, transgender, intersex, Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Pagan, Buddhist, Hindu, Atheist, Agnostic--I hope that I can always be deserving of the blessing of having children in the first place.

It wouldn't matter - he would be the same person and as long as he was happy I would be happy. Even if he was a Gay Muslim I would be happy.
By the way, neither of these two things is bad....

I'd rather he be a gay, happy son.
Do you remember the days when "gay" meant "happy" and nothing more?
Maybe gay people ARE happier, truly.
More power to them!
I'd rather have a gay son.

Gay (again!)
But I don't care, really, if I had a son who wanted to be Muslim, I'd let him (as long as he didn't get in trouble).

Gay, I would prefer my children have no religious nonsense going on but I also want them to make thier own choices so if they want to be Gay Muslim they are still loved by their mom

No.
I would rather teach my son to avoid all sinful ways, so neither of the choices you offered is any better than the other.

Either way, I'd love him all the same... But as it so happens, he's straight and rather pagan-centric...
