Very important......seeing as how we are on the subject of charity, I can use a couple hundred bucks if you have it.....preferably in non-sequential twenty-dollar bills.

Canada?! What the hell is Canada? Ohhhhh, it's that large land mass to the north of us where I was detained for nearly four hours and searched. My poor scrotum is still feeling violated and that was five years ago!!

Charity's is an organization with charitable purposes only. Trusts, foundations, unincorporated associations and in some jurisdictions specific types of companies, may be established for a charitable purpose or may acquire such purpose after establishment. Charities are all non-profit organizations, however, not all non-profit organizations are charities. Organizations that are only partly dedicated to charitable purposes are sometimes considered as, or treated as, charities, depending on specific regulations at a given jurisdiction. Some charitable organizations may be established by companies as part of tax planning and strategies.

Now is you understood that then you see it benefits the giver maybe more than the receiver.

Charity to me gets down to Love, how much do we really love and care about our fellow human beings. If we have been blessed then I think we should give back. I work as a volunteer at a local hospital, I love it, been doing it for years, making people smile makes me smile, and I believe it helps keep you healthy and always upbeat no matter what is going on around you. Charity is very important to me, and my whole family. God loves a cheerful giver..

"How important is charity?"
I would say not much it seems historically to only create welfare systems.
If you know of someone in your city who has lost everything to fire, flood,or wind and have no insurance, and are not too proud to take charity the best kind is direct go to them and as an example hey you know that dining room set you lost well I've one on the truck over there I want to donate to you to replace it.
Or if you know of elderly during the summer who can't afford a fan buy them at least one,or children hungry feed them,or people who seem forever lost in loneliness introduce them to someone.
