I am a 33 y/o caucasian male. I have a high school diploma, couple of college classes, and completed a 4 year electricians apprenticeship(I am a Journeyman). Previously, I have warehouse, manufacturing, and bartending experience. Currently I am working as an electrician and pizza delivery driver. None of these have been my dream job. I prefer limited contact with others. I don't mind working long hours. I don't like talking on the phone. I live in Atlanta and am limited to jobs in the Atlanta area. My interests/hobbies include reading, cooking, scuba diving, and juijitsu, however, I rarely get to indulge in any of these(I work almost 80 hours a week). I am curious to hear all suggestions. Thanks.

I think there are many 33y/o males who, with limited education, a journeyman' certification and an obvious work ethic would love to be earning 60 + grand per year. The question is " What does your experience qualify you to do?"Are you experienced and knowledgible enough to be a lead electrician? Do you have the experience for a Master electrician? Could you run a crew? I am not familiar enough with the work to advise you. These questions might provide a clue.

I personally think that this is an issue that should not even be. We are all moms trying to raise our children the best we can. Some do not have the option of staying home, because someone has to put food on the table and a roof over their heads. I have done both, stayed at home and worked. At neither time did I love my children more or less. It was just a matter of if I wanted them to eat or go hungry. I would rather stay home and spend the day with them, but unfortunately, unless I want to put completely on welfare with no future cash for their college, I have to work. And I am one of the lucky working moms that get off work right when my kids get out of school. So I am able to be there when they get home; I think all mothers need to unite and quit fighting over who is the more loving mother. We have more pressing issues than that to deal with.
