Find a chart for your age and determine what a normal weight is. Then you can decide how much to lose, and how many calories you should cut to lose weight. Generally subtract 500 a day for a 1 pound weekly weight loss, if you exercise you will lose a little more. Anything else is unrealistic.
To focus on losing weight, buy a book that lists calories of foods, and keep a food journal. Write down everything you eat. You may find that you are consuming to many (or too few) calories to lose weight. We usually under estimate how much we eat unless we keep a written record.
You can eat any food you want as long as you control the portion. It is best though to eat vegetables, fruits, lean meats and whole grains.

No quick answer, or at least no quick answer that ends well in the long term. However, getting away from sodas is an excellent first start, and depending on an individual's daily consumption, that alone can be good for a quick 5-10 lbs. Otherwise, the old standbys of eating right and in the right proportions, and some good cardio exercise. If you don't want to bother with a gym, walking is an excellent low-impact cardio exercise, and if you want to enhance that, maybe some small hand or ankle weights could work for you. Overall, the focus should be on becoming a healthier person. I'm far from an expert, but I've seen miracles in other people who have put in the work and done what they needed to do. On the other end of the spectrum, I've made my choices, and I'm not going to sue some restaurant for my dietary irresponsibility.

WATER,WATER,WATER...... quit drinking any drinks with lots of suger and drink water if you drink the 8-10 (8 oz glasses) of water that you should now double that your going to be full of water and not starving eat a balenced diet and Drink a ton of water also cut salt this is the best advice i can give you I lost a ton of weight I do mean a ton after having my baby by doing these things. Your skin will look great as well what can it hurt give it a try.. GOOD LUCK!!

If you wanna lose weight you have to do a couple of things. First of all you have to excersize, second of all you have to watch what you eat for example try not to eat lots of unhealthy and junk food like candy and chips.try eating rather healthy food like if your hungry snack on a fruit or vegetable rather than a candy bar.
