You don't NEED to pay for a HIGH END HDMI cable....it's OVERKILL.....

And they weigh too much and break the fragile HDMI connector off of the TV set...costing you $400 + for just the part !!

So, just get a $30 to $70 LIGHT WEIGHT HDMI cable.....
You'll see the same picture....

Now if you want...spend your money on higher priced COMPONENT cables....there you will see a difference.

Great question! Contrary to popular belief, the pricing of cables does not correspond directly to quality. Similar cables can range in price tremendously depending on where you buy them. To save money, purchase the cable from an online retailer which specializes in electronics (read: newegg.com or tigerdirect.com). For example, a 25ft HDMI cable from newegg is only $35.84 with shipping. A similar cable from Best Buy would probably cost around $50-70.

You really dont need high-end for a digital cable. These signals tend to be very insensitive to the 'quality' or 'price' of the cable.

I use BlueJeans. They make their cables using Belden, Canare materials just like every production studio and network TV station use. (not normally sold to consumers)

$38 for a 10 ft HDMI cable. t's more accurately called 'professional' or 'industrial' quality.

you could spend up to $100 (or maybe more), but you dont have to. for the most part go for the cheaper cables. as long as you dont go for the cheapest "dollar store" cables , you wont notice any difference between a top of the line $100 pair and a modest $10 to $20 pair.
