that's correct, but it shouldn't be used to justify the misdeed of good people.

Of course, why would he need to bother people he already has. Actually, Satan, is a fallen angel, he has a lot of power, but he can only be in one place at a time, he does have other fallen angels, ( one third of the angel population ) who have less power but that help him quite a bit.
It would be safe to say that Satan himself is more than likely involved in the major high places of the world. Leaders of true Christian religion, presidents and world leaders. While the lesser fallen angels handle the new converts to Christianity.
None of the other religions would concern him because they are false religions that are actually helping his cause.
The one thing that people do not take into consideration is the fact that we as humans are born with a sin nature. This is the reason for most of our failure to be good honest believers. If the truth were to be known, we would find very few of our personal problems really come from the world of fallen angels. They are just us, being ourselves, and not relying on Jesus to guide us.

Who decides who the purest people are?
Who decides who is closest to "God"
And what has the so called "devil" got to do with certain people being preyed upon. It is humans who prey upon humans. It is humans who, according to what religion they belong to, decide who is the purest. Of course they pick their own religion, because they believe themselves to be the purest.
I suppose there are unfortunate people who still say THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT, instead of putting blame on their own choices.

Hmmm ... here's what the bible says:
"Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." James 4:7
The devil isn't going to waste his time on those closets to God. What the devil looks for is an open door, an opportunity to walk into our lives. The bible calls them "strongholds." They're spiritual in nature and manifest themselves through anything from bad habits to addictions.
"For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." 2 Corinthians 10:3-5
The devil only preys on those who allow it to happen.

I hope so. It means that I don't have a thing to worry about.
But if the devil also preys on the weak-minded, you might want to hide.
Uh oh, I can hear the Bible-thumpers coming after me. I better git movin' down the road.

In a way - yes for they are the ones who are able to recognize the presence of the devil. Others don't have the introspective ability to realize when Satan is making an appearance.

Satan is powerless against God`s people. He only preys on those that let him. EVERY knee shall bow before God. Even satan and the demons believe in God and tremble before him.
He TRIES to prey on anyone who is on God`s path. But we just rebuke him in Jesus name and Poof, He MUST go away.

I'm glad I don't have to worry about religion. I mean you give to your god and you worship him and for this you got some devil that's always messing with you to get you to do bad. As an atheist, they both just leave us alone. Because, they both don't exist.
