Because they are shallow and hypocritical. They will even hold Christian funerals for their loved ones because it gives them "comfort" and make fun of us when we tell them our faith gives us comfort every day, not just when someone dies.
That's part of being an unbeliever - the illogic of it all.

Christmas and Easter are both NOT Christian holidays. Hence the tree and the eggs.
I have never thought of Thanksgiving as religious although I am about to research the origin some more to make sure I am right.
Edit: Yep, nothing at all about it being religious in any way.

Why do so many Christians celebrate pagan holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas and even Easter?

I enjoy Thanksgiving and Christmas as a time to spend with family and friends. There is no religious significance of any kind for either. When my kids were younger Easter was fun for hiding eggs and helping the kids find them, again no religious significance was ever implied.

Well, Thanksgiving doesn't have anything to do with religion.....unless you chose to make it a religious holiday.
To my family, Christmas has nothing to do with the birth of christ....we don't believe any of that nonsense...and it doesn't snow in the holy land, nor have evergreen trees and icicles anyway. It is actually a pagan celebration based on the Roman Saturnalia.
Easter is a spring celebration also based on paganism. Eggs and candy really doesn't have anything to do with religion either, does it.

For fun and jollity.
Enjoying the holidays so provided.
No religion involved at all.
BTW, christmas was purloined from the pagans, as was easter. At Xmas, I celebrate yuletide. At easter, I celebrate fertility.
Thanksgiving ... I am not sad enough to be from the US.

Not again.
Its called Secularization. Sick of this question getting asked 20 times a day just because Christmas is coming.
You don't need to believe in Christ to celebrate Christmas. Even for Christians its about food, family, and presents. They love to claim otherwise, but 99% of those are lying when they do.
So enough already.
