The man had the hiccups and the water helped him stop it, and the gun scared him which also help stop his hiccups as well.

The man walks into a bar with hiccup to drink water to stop it. Since no water is available the bartender points the gun at him to remove hiccup by frightening him.

The guy had hiccups. The water helped him, and so did being scared by the bartender with the gun. He didn't have hiccups anymore, so he thanked the bartender and left. Keep posting riddles!

Ooh i in my opinion understand the answer to this one ha ha. the guy who walked into the bar had the hiccups. He asked for water to help him provide up them. The bartender scared the hiccups out of him with the shotgun, so he has not greater hiccups. =D
