Since you found them at such a young age, it is possible that the kittens "imprinted" on you. In other words, they think you are "Mom."

I would think they will be following you every where. The nudges are either signs of affection or a request to nurse. LOL! Better have that bottle handy! Or, whatever it is you have been feeding them.

He's nudging your face so that he can swap scents with you. Cats that are friendly to each other, often head rub to reinforce the bond between them. Be flattered, it's a strong sign of affection.

The Messy Beast web site has lots of interesting information about cat behaviour that you might enjoy reading. Particularly the articles on vocal communication and cat body language.

He is saying I love you and probably wants more attention.

I know my kitty nudges my face when he wants to be petted, particularly if I am sleeping in bed at the time.

It's also called "head butting." It's a sign of affection.

Scent glands are on both sides of face. If they rub against you where scent glands are, they are marking there territory. In other words "you" belong to little kitty.

What you are describing is "head butting." It's a compliment. How lucky you are.
