is it possible to download pics from an old photosmart c30 camera with the operating system xp?

XP should have old digital camera driver already. If not, you can always download the latest one from the net, or you can do what I do. Get the memory card out of the machine and read it with a card reader that is connected to the computer.

as long as the drivers for the camera are supported by Xp, they will. Check your camera support manual for more details or if you have misplaced it try looking up on the Internet.
