I started to hate chicken as I reached 30. No specific negative experience, I just hate it now.

I used to eat chicken all the time, now I don't like to nearly as much. I guess I got sick of it. About once a month, I'll get a craving for it but that it. I'm 26 now so it could have something to do with age. I also used to love Ramon noodles, and now I can't stand it.

Maybe you just have a need for all of your essential amino acids. Our bodies tell us what we need, and so we crave it. Like being thirsty when you need water. Beef is the only meat that contains all of our essential amino acids in one. Of course, by combining different types of proteins, you can creatively live without it, but if you're overloaded on the protein in chicken, you may develop an adversity to it so that you don't consider it as appealing anymore. Just a guess though. On the other hand, any chance you had a dream that could have caused it? Somehow my dream world and my reality get confused when it comes to subconscious things like that.

I had a bad experience the other day with chicken wings I had bought from the grocery store. It was so nasty looking I almost threw up. There was still hair on the legs. Probably just ruined me of chicken forever.

No, of course not. I just ate one home made fried chicken breast last night. I think it's been 6 months since I had a fresh fried chicken breast. I may have another piece tonight too. I'm sorry you don't like chicken. I happen to like it.

Once when my oven was broke we had to cook our chicken in a little electric oven, the bottoms always turned out slimy, turned me off of homemade chicken forever. But I can tear up some KFC!

No. I guess it's all in the way you prepare it. I never eat fried. And I guess if I gave up on chicken, I wouldn't have much left in a choice of protein. I don't eat beef or pork.

no, but i hate kfc chicken and tyson chicken. KFC suppliers cram birds into huge waste-filled factories, breed and drug them to grow so large that they can’t even walk, and often break their wings and legs. At slaughter, the birds’ throats are slit and they are dropped into tanks of scalding-hot water—often while they are still conscious. It would be illegal for KFC to abuse dogs, cats, pigs, or cows in these ways.

KFC’s own animal welfare advisors have asked the company to take steps to eliminate these abuses, but KFC refuses to do so. Many advisors have now resigned in frustration.
