God is not willing that any should perish and neither do I. Knowing the terror of the Lord, I pursued men.

Woh, I never claimed Darwin did anything. In fact, if you think you can just mosey along living contrary to God's ways and say you'll just recant on your death bed, you're a fool! God knows your mind, your heart, your every thought.....anyone can mouth the words, but only a sincere heart that is surrendered to the Lord will be saved. How do I feel about you? I hope that you will trust the Lord, but even if you don't...I'll still keep on believing in God's love. As far as being sad, the Lord is grieving over you more than I possibly ever can.

Honestly?
When I think about folks like you, who have stubbornly set their minds against the idea that there could be a God Who loves them...I find it heart-breaking.
When I think that you have chosen death rather than life...I am moved to tears.
I wish that there were some way that I could gift you with the experience of knowing God in your heart, without coming off as "sanctimonious"...but I know that the subject has been over-done, and that you are just plain tired of hearing about it.
And there are no words for the pity and the abject sorrow that I feel.
I do have to admit that I don't let these things take away my own joy in the Lord.
My own life is full and happy, and echoing with love.
I don't sit around and dwell on the fate of people who have set their hearts against God...after all, it is a choice you made, for whatever reason.
I pray for you, and for people like you, as a part of my every day routine.
I take after my Father...
I am not willing that anyone should perish...
It does give me hope to know that you are still alive, and still here, asking questions. I pray that you, and others like you who hang around this forum, might one day read something that might spark your interest, and you might want to know more...of course, it is hard, in an impersonal forum like this, where we really can't get to know one another, for you to see the love of Christ reflected in His disciples, and the truth is that the pool has been muddied by all of the self-righteous hypocrites (i.e. we've all been there, I'm afraid), and that makes it even harder to see that glorious reflection...and for that I am truly sorry.
Just one thing, though...what does Darwin have to do with it?
I mean, I don't know what his dying thoughts may have been...and I doubt anyone else does either...
Anyhow, my wish for you is for God to bless you...today, and for all of your days to come.
Happy Holidays!!

Don't take this personally or develop a complex over this, but I'm willing to bet that no one really gives a rat's rectum what you do. If it will make you feel any better, I will say that I suspect that they most likely have the same sentiment towards me as well. The only reason they might be interested to see either of us experience a deathbed conversion would be so they can say "I told you so".

Honestly for you to take the time to type this out, I think you're probably hoping that some one will be able to convince you that there is something significant to hope for.
But you can NEVER be talked into it.
The only way to find the answer, is to reach out to God yourself. Seek Him and you'll find that's He's been there right in front of you your whole life.
Through the good, and the bad times, even if that sounds impossible to you, it true.
But like I said, you can't be talked into it; either you gather up the courage and find out if I'm lying, or go on pretending that you have nothing to give yourself to.

That's between you and God. Or in your case, perhaps between you and the wall.
I wouldn't want you to recant on your death bed...sounds like it might be immoral.
Might want to use spell check.
Here's the irony....you seem to define yourself by your atheism. If there is no God, why spend time on it posting silly questions like this? Without a God to question, what you do. What would you be? I think you've developed a God dependence.

I don't really know you but Jesus does. And while I myself am not that sad because I don't know you I know he is. Perhaps there are friends of yours there that you know that are believers. I am sure they are sad and pray for you every day. You cannot accuse God of not caring for you. Especially when he has placed friends in your life that do.
Keep an open mind about God. If any discipline would be the most open minded don't you think it would be scientists? I always thought so. Take care.

It is very, very sad. I do care. I will pray that someday you would soften your heart and believe the Truth.
You know, had you asked that same questions years ago, I probably wouldn't have cared. I used to just think that I was saved and was going to heaven, but didn't care about anyone else. But, God has changed that. I have a desire to see the unsaved, saved. I have family who do not believe and I pray for them daily. It saddens me.
God Bless,

Well, as long as you're alive. It makes me want to continue to pray for you. Pray that the Lord will continuously try to reveal Himself to you ,so that you can get to experience firsthand His love, compassion and that huge sacrifice He's done for you by giving Himself on the cross on Calvary for you, me and the whole world. God Bless You!

What I feel isn't important. What do YOU feel? Obviously you're deliberately mocking God, so how does that make you feel? It isn't as if you simply don't believe in God (people don't obsess over things they claim doesn't exist). How do you feel with the thought that you'll have to stand before God one day and answer for your denial?
