Depends somewhat on who's asking, but if it's a legit source trying to determine your income to see if you are eligible for some program, would mean do you get money you don't pay tax on - things like child support or welfare benefits might go here.

Any money you received that you did not pay taxes on such as winning a car in a drawing. You will need to pay taxes on the value of the car. Money you received for work as a contractor or consultant where you do not work for a company and are paid directly by the customer. Benefits would be something like another person or entity (not your parents or guardian) paying your insurance on your behalf or paying for a vacation. If none of these or similar apply to you then leave that blank or put 0 or none.
