i mean the average guy, do they try it in the locker room once or twice? or is this very rare? i'm starting to think it's more common in young men. and i'm not talking about guys who think they are gay or bisexual. is this a hormonal thing and is it common? curious

It's actually extremely common, especially when coming into puberty. And it's normal, by the way. Most guys won't admit to it, but most do experiment a bit until they figure out their sexuality. Enough so that there are a LOT of liars on here tonight!
And yes, I did. Long time ago. And don't give a rat's @$$ who knows it either! Decided that girls were where it was at for me and that was that.
FYI, most teens don't experiment in public places so not seeing this sort of activity in the locker room or at a nightclub is meaningless. People who get sexually active in public are exhibitionists -- and that applies to gay, straight or bi. About equal percentages of each group engage in behaviour where they might get caught out in public.

More common than you may think.and yes people of any age do try it not only in locker rooms Its perfectly natural and doesnt mean you are gay .People are always curious and will find experimenting interesting.The old saying dont knock it till you try it springs to mind

it's more common than most people think. it's very hard to get it out of most people since the world is still pretty homophobic, even though people always say they have gay friends, they are still really closed-minded about it. you have to really trust someone to admit you did something like that. often guys will do it once when they are away from home and they know no one will find out. it doesn't mean they are gay at all. most of our MANLY men who are so anti-gay and macho and with big egoes are the biggest closet cases!

I have never done anything with a guy. But all the other guys I am to be around seem to be to homophobic and they automatically assume that if they even think of doing something with a guy then they are gay. Which in my opinion is so not true. If they really want o experiment with the same sex then they should. But unfortunately all it is for most guys is GIRLS GIRLS GIRLS!!! ;]

actually contrary to the other answers i have had many straight young men (15 16 17 18) ask me to experiment at the three schools i attended... it was intresting see as how they didnt know i was gay at the time.... so from my knowledge and the knowledge of some of my friends that arent ashamed of the curiosity it is actually pretty common..

Not common at all, as a night club owner its rare, and we eject those who behave in such manner. We are led to believe that this conduct is ok, yet most patrons are discusted .
Its minority groups who push there views upon us all who speak the loudest, yet they expect the general population to forget the values and morals in which they were brought up. Those who wish to change the fabric of our society are attention seekers. As such kids now days are allready suffering, example being, XMAS, and EASTER..
Kids are being taught that these simple things are not exceptable, and we are being made as the majority to be ashamed.
Well , your vote this election could very well determine your future, a vote for Labour / Greens will open the flood gates for behaviour as stated above. A vote for the libs will give us all some security that we the majority are heard and not pushed aside by minority groups.

I don't know for real but there sure R a lot of X rated DVD's out there that deal with curious guys. I'd like to view one but what if my GF found out??? Just not worth the risk.

Absolutely not. If this does happen, it's almost guaranteed that the boy/man is either bisexual or gay. Most hormonal urges are towards women in straight men. If someone is having urges towards men, that's almost positively a gay or bisexual man.

actually it is quite common for young males in their teens to experiment with other guys. mostly is hormones and curiosity and generally most guys grow out of it does not mean they are gay. it is more common than guys will admit
