No. How can a demon possess a place that the Holy Spirit inhabits. Demons can OPRESS christians but not posess them.

No.I've heard some decent Christian ministers say otherwise,but The Holy Ghost can't occupy the same body as a Demon.And there are too many verses that prove this to be true to say the opposite.I think some are afraid to say a person is not a Christian when they come for deliverance is all.Above gal is correct about oppression.There is also obssesion .Kurt Koch has a great book called OCCULT ABC on the subject.

Pilgrim took the words right out of my mouth -- oppressed, not possessed. This is the ONLY problem I have with "The Exorcism of Emily Rose", by the way.
You might want to read "Deliver Us From Evil" by Don Basham. Interesting, and the first time I read it, I took it off my parents bookshelf when I was 7. Bad idea! Scared the wiggledy-wobbles out of me!

Since Christians are the only ones that believe in that
non-sense - Yes, Christians can be demon possessed. Although its a self fulfilling prophecy.Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.

It is unlikely that anyone is demon possessed. Most I have counseled had a physical problem.
