You have the term "Statute of Limitations" confused with the life of a warrant. I am going to address your question with the assumption that you are speaking of a traffic warrant.
"Statute of Limitations" means that the state has a certain amount of time to solve a crime; and the Police "solved" the crime the day you were issued the ticket.
Your problem is how long does Colorado keep warrants on file. My state keeps them on file until it can be presumed that the person is deceased. Unless you appear in court or do something with this warrant, you won't be able to get a driver's license or register a vehicle.

There is no statute of limitations on a warrant in CO (or anyway else as far as I know).

Statute of limitations refer to the time period the DA has to bring charges against you. This will differ by the charge, some like murder etc have no limit, most felonies are three years and missies are 18 months in Colorado.

If a warrant has been issued, the charges have already been filed, and the warrant will follow you until you take care of it, you're arrested or you die.

What jurisdiction in CO, issued the warrant, and what's the charge?

Typically a warrant (for my jurisdiction) has a 5 year expiration date, at which point it is automatically renewed. Last month during a traffic stop I arrested a guy on a 1995 warrant.
