A little bit seemed to have a big effect, why not completely submerge Linda Blair in jacuzzi full of holy water?

Why don't they do that anytime there's a demon? What's with this little sprinkle of holy water?

Sorry I just watched the movie and I was wondering about that lol

Well you saw that when the priest sprayed her with a bit of holy water it burned her skin so it they submerged her in holy water she would have effectively burned alive (boiled alive?)

Probably because they had to keep her tied to the bed, and it wouldn't make sense to release her because she was a bit violent, the cinematographer knew what he was doing. It was a brilliant, although frightening, film.

Why didn't they just take her behind the barn, that's what they did to Packer.
