I am a US Marine Cadet, and im learning a few of the Marine words, so I just need a bit of help.

Nice or polite? Many ways including the "At Ease" command is the correct command or informally Shut your Sucks" or just Shut the F### Up" work also.

Unless you are a Marine, you only ask politely.

Then wait for them to give you a turn to speak.

If you are in the Marine Corp, and not in the upper crust, saying "shut up" could be a death wish.

" at ease ! "
It can be used in a quite tone to tell the troops in formation to stand "at ease"
or yell it and it means SHUT UP!

Just pick a bunch of four letter words, string them together and bellow them at high volume.

That's pretty much it.

As a NCO in the Army, all I had to say was "drop." Kind of hard to run your suck when you're doing push-ups...
