It he as much as this point together with his worming if no longer that must be the concern. yet plenty extra possibly he desires his anal galnds emptied that's basic in dogs. it is easily accomplished in case you be responsive to what you're doing yet once you have in no way accomplished it beofre you may desire to get the vet to do it and teach you the way for the furture. that's slightly a scent interest. that's not the undesirable dogs fault that he's scooting his butt around the carpet blocked anal gland reason irration. So get him a vet appointment.

Many people think scooting (dragging their rear along the floor) is the definitive sign of worms. In actuality, it is usually a sign that the anal sacs need to be expressed (meaning, sqeezed out like a big zit, sort of). You should bring your dog either to a professional groomer who can do this for you, or to your vet. If it doesn't resolve the problem it could be something else, like worms.

Could be he has worms, his anal glands need to be expressed or simply his rear end itches. Take him to the vet, have them test a fecal sample for worms and check his anal glands. If your dog has worms you can actually get them if you don't clear them up and if your dogs anal glands are full they can get infected and cause serious problems.

That could be a sign of having worms. I'd get it checked out at the vet. I forgot to add it can also be an anal gland problem.

Probably not worms. Most likely impacted anal sacs that need expressing. Take him to a vet or groomer and have them show you how to empty them.
Warning: the fluid released from these glands are smelly. really smelly.

Could be worms or he may need his anal glands cleared. Either way a trip to the vet couldn't hurt.

Could be worms, could be that his anal glands need to be squeezed (ugh), could just be that he's scratching his behind. It's hard to tell without knowing if it has been one time or is it more regular than that?

Most likely he needs to have his anal sacs squeezed so you should take him to the vet. Don't put it off for too long though because it can get very smelly and could possibly get infected.

worms, anal gland needs expressing, poop on his butt, his butt itches, it feels good. These are all reasons. My dog does it from time to time and he does not have worms. Ive seen him do it across the parking lot. Rough asphalt, his butt must really itch.
