To a degree, yes. Is it always safe, no. This depends on the cohesiveness of the two existing on many dimensions besides just the physical and emotional. When two commune to such a degree that they truly become one, what one is capable of, the other can experience -- as they dwell as one. This can happen outside of romantic relationships if two have become so fully tuned in to one another they can share an experience inside out so to speak. It isn't something I'd suggest unless both parties are fully equipped to handle the vibrational energies that may follow.

If you're asking this question chances are you are already in possession of the answer :-)

I have herd that being in the presence of an individual of higher consciousness can cause this to occur. I have no personal experience to back up this claim.

The tantric traditions have specific practices for this, and it can happen spontaneously. I've been privy to both.

Yes, this is the power of the Goddess, she holds the serpent power, man is the key that can unlock it. But he must give himself fully to the female, this is the fail safe. All women have this serpent power. I wonder how many know it?

Sunman, are we related? : )

EDIT: I thought so. : )
