It depends on how much you ate before you got it....and how much you drank. The sad thing is, you just have to let it come...it usually takes about 24 hours to start feeling okay again.
When you start eating, drink clear fluids first. If those stay down...try a little gatorade (works well for dehydration) or juice. If those stay down, try some simple white foods...like rice. If you're okay with those...you're healed!
Feel better.

I threw up every 30 minutes almost exactly from 12:30 AM to 6:30 AM
That was pretty bad but even that might not be the upper limit. I would think that as soon as you feel like you can actually stomach it you can start eating normal food again. Assuming you've stopped throwing up.

are you sure that you not Pregnant?
Are you having any othe symptoms?
Stomach flu can have different symptoms, but the common ones are nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.
Only your body can cure this condition, but you can help it do the job by getting plenty of rest.
For nausea and vomiting, stop eating for two to four hours, then gradually introduce small amounts of water and other fluids. Avoid most solid foods for 24 hours.
For diarrhea, don't eat or drink for four hours; then gradually increase your intake of fluids. Avoid most solid foods for 24 to 48 hours.
If your symptoms are severe, unusual, or persistent, call your health care provider for further advice.

WASH YOUR HANDS!!! Wipe down surfaces they have touched with Lysol or a 10-1 bleach solution. Yes, a mask will help but the hand washing and surfacing washing should be sufficient. Unfortunately if this has been going on for a while you have probably already been exposed.

NOOO FOOD for at least 24 hours
then only soft food like soup, jello and toast.
Let your body flush out all the bugs that are making you feel so bad...... it needs a little time to make that happen.
YOU vomit due to your body trying to expel the germs out and a tummy with food takes away the energy to heal... so it gets rid of it.
Lots of water and juice and tea.... for 24 hours......then slowly come back to solids.
Hope you feel better.

it varies but most people get over it within 48 hours. no way to say how many times you'll actually vomit. always start light when getting back to food. jello, toast, soup. when you feel up to it, eat regular.
