Aside from the entire belief in relgion and the propagation of ancient myths as the infallible "word of god," here are a few:
In some of my classes at Catholic school, I was told that there were no cases of leprosy after Jesus cured them. The disease still exists in some parts of the world.
I was also told in a lecture on sexuality that there were no sexual diseases before the sin of the sexual revolution (they also frowned down on contraception). That's complete baloney. Even Shakespeare's plays make references to syphilis, and condoms prevent the spread of sexual disease. It's irresponsible to lie about it.
