Our computer did not come with powerpoint but now im in high school and we have a project that we have to do on powerpoint. Can you download it free on the internet or do you have to buy it?

You could use Open Office instead of Microsoft Office. It is fully compatible with Office 2003 and below, and is almost as good as Microsoft Office. You can find it here... http://www.openoffice.org/ .

I can't believe that no one mentioned that students and teachers can buy PowerPoint or the entire Microsoft Office suite at a hugely discounted price.

You don't say whether or not your computer is a Mac or Windows based. Microsoft has super deal on the Mac version right now. Follow the links below.

Actually, go to the source below, where you can d/l MS Office 2007 free trial.

It should get you out of yoru current bind. Unless of course you have to do another project in PPT.

Also, the youtube is an instruciton on how to give a PPT presentation.

A Powerpoint *VIEWER* is available for free download.

If you actually want to use the program to make your own slides etc, you need to buy the program.

you have to buy it. you have a computer that didnt come with powerpoint? i thought almost all did! if its a PC then hunt around cause its proby there.

powerpoint is pack with office..please refer to this website for an overview. No its not free...they do have a trail version of the office.

you can download Microsoft office which has power point, and yes you can download it but it is illegal so just buy it if you want to avoid the trouble.
