Do you think setting an alarm is bad for health? I was thinking about this the other day, when the alarm goes off, it basically 'jump starts' your body, so maybe in the long run it can be very detrimental to ones health. Anyone have any ideas? What you people think?

I hate alarm clocks.I always hit that snooze button. Now that I use my phone for my alarm its not so bothersome because it kinda wakes u up like some ones calling you so u wake up as in happier for some reason.

When I retired I threw my alarm clock in the trash! It used to go off every morning at 5:30! It's not the alarm that is bad for your health - it's the traffic jams that follow on the way to work.

My alarm clock was bad for me. But it was because of what i had to do after the alarm went off.
Ever since I quit my job, i've felt much healthier, whether i set my alarm clock , or sleep till i wake up on my own.
Being jarred rudely to conciousness is not nearly as bad for your physical and mental wellbeing as being jarred rudely by your evil boss and your impossible customers... :)
