They should both be fine on the same diet as long as both of them have normal dietary needs. Solid Gold has a Hund-n-Flocken Adult Dog formula that's just an adult dog food they should both be fine on. That's great that you have educated yourself on the problem and are fixing it! Solid Gold is a good choice, but just remember to gradually change the food. For the first two days, mix 75% Pedigree/25% Solid Gold, third and fourth day, mix 50/50%, fifth and sixth day, 75% Solid Gold/25% Pedigree and on the seventh day you can start feeding them 100% Solid Gold.

You should be able to feed both of them the same thing. One note of caution, however. Ease them into the new food gradually, a switch like that can sometimes causes upset stomachs. Solid Gold makes good stuff, but even with very high quality foods, not all dogs will tolerate the ingredients in a given food well. It doesn't mean it's not a good food, just not the right one for your dogs. Buy small bags at first, and see how they do over the course of a couple of weeks. I've tried my dogs on one of the Solid Gold foods, and it doesn't seem to suit them, although they do well on Timberwolf Organics Wild & Natural, EVO and Canidae All Life Stages. It may be one ingredient in this particular food that's not in the others. Also, some of the 4 and 5 star foods are excellent choices, so if that one doesn't work, there are lots of options. Sometimes it takes a while to find just the right one, or several right ones.

Solid Gold is an excellent choice. They should be able to eat the same food, so long as you choose an all-breed formula. I wouldn't reccomend feeding the lab thier Wee-Bites formula for instance, as small dog food often has higher protein and fat, which a lab certainly doesn't need. Alot will depend on your Yorkie. some small dogs prefer smaller kibble sizes and if your yorkie is one, you might have to use the Wee Bites for her. We use Wolf King and the kibbles are quite large, I'm not sure about kibble size for the other Solid Gold formulas. -Neb

I think its fine to have all your dogs on the same food. We feed only organic all natural food. One dog is 60 lbs, another is 11, and another one is 9. IT should be fine unless your dogs have different dietary needs. You will find that if you try to keep separate foods, the dogs will switch and want to eat the other ones food anyway.
Solid gold is a good choice. Their dog treats are great too

You totally can feed Solid Gold to both your breeds. I have Pomeranians and a Lab. They get Solid Gold Barking at the Moon. They love it, and I know I am doing right by them. It may be a little expensive, but, hey! I don't eat junk, either...why would I feed junk to them?

Yes they can UNLESS one of them has an issue with that particular food. Just feed each of them the amount they need and make sure one doesn't steal the others. Good Luck and keep doing what's best for your dogs.

If you find a variety that has a moderate amount of protein between 20-28% then it will be fine for both dogs. Solid Gold has at least one formula that is suitable for both dogs.
Kudos on educating yourself!!

Yes as long as they are older than 6 months and working/very active dogs old
Like Shanna said the protein is way to high.
