I would doubt very much whether it actually had alcohol in it as alcohol is not good for your hair It would dry it out rather than make it shine.
Alcohol swabs used in medical dressings and to clean an area before an injection are not considered to be haram, so I would not think that it would apply to hair products either,if it did actually contain alcohol.

the alcohol in other products is not the same as the one that is used in wines for human consumption
the other thing wines are not to be ingested , it was forbidden in islam if you remember the story because people suffered from property damage and were humiliated because they were under the influence of alcohol . so you don't add it to drinks or food since even a little of it is forbidden.
i don't think that applies in this case unless you plan on drinking it which i don't think you are at all.
i'll check if there's a fatwa about it .

I am not a Muslim, but, if memory serves me right, it says "Don't drink alcohol", doesn't it?
I don't see it saying anything about using a hair care product, I'm afraid.
All the best.

I certainly don't want to smell like alcohol. For this reason Muslims use frangrances made in Muslim countries with essense of flowers only like Rose and Jasmine. And we don't eat food in restaurants with wine mixed in it.
Isn't it good? Prices of such things stay down for you all.

Alcohol is prohibited mainly because of its intoxication quality, and this brings more bad than the good. Thats the main issue - prohibition of consumption

You're not going to drink it... are you?
Anyways.. alcohol (the drinking type) is said to be Najis... which means unclean... but the other type is ok...
Some scholars say its ok to use such products and some say its haram...

I dont believe that it really has champagne in it. It probably has the smell of champagne in it. Read the ingredients. If it does then you shouldnt use it.

Yes, although most of the time I disagree with Simon's perception against Islam, but on this one I agree with him.
