I think the world would be a much nicer place if we were all Buddhist.

But why Zen Buddhist, in particular? I'm Theravadin Buddhist, because I want to follow the original Buddhism.

But I am of course not demeaning any particular sect of Buddhism. But we don't all have to be Buddhist, as long as we, even if indirectly, follow the moral values which beneficial philosophies like Buddhism teach.

Yes. The world would be a much nicer place if we were all unified under any one religion, but that simply isn't the case.

I agree with solo above. If we all believed in the same thing, no matter what it was, the world would be a more peaceful place. We wouldn't have religion to fight over, only other petty things.

I doubt it.
If everyone were the same life would be boring.
I have no idea what a Zen Budist is anyway.

we already all are. no one could have reach liberation otherwise. it's not different religions that cause argues, that's minds that are moving. when mind is still, at peace, religion does not matter and can be called anything, including zen, for names matter not for understanding oneself.

wake up.

God blessed America because of the faith of the Pilgrim Fathers and the Separatist Puritans. God had judged all the Buddhist nations.

It is easy for some fat slob, couch potatoes writing from some far away country spewing out God-hating mails. Why do not you do what you do........come and stay here in the Zen Buddhist countries? Many earn their filthy lucre and spend it molesting young boys and girls. May God judge all your wickedness and sins.

What moral value is there, from a man who had it all as a prince and went forth to abandon his wife and family?
