We believe that God created everything and everyone and without him we would have nothing. The least we can do is show our love and appreciation for Him by attending church every Sunday.

So many reasons. First that pops into my head was something my bishop said to me right after my baptism. He told me to make sure that I attended all 3 hrs of church every week. The reason, because just like a car needs gas to run properly, so does the human soul need spiritual feeding. I needed to return to get my spiritual gas tank refilled. When I miss church I feel sorrowful now. The more dedicated I become to my faith, the more I miss church if I miss and the more I miss the temple when I don't attend each month.
Now as I'm older, I am more motivated to be an example of church attendance for my kids.
WEIRD CHILD-Mormons go to church every Sunday. The temple is completely different. W eattend that usually about once a month. Never on Sundays. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

As the Apostle Paul might say, we are "not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is" (Hebrews 10:25). There are many reasons for going to church every week; perhaps the most important of these is to keep the Sabbath day holy by worshiping God.

To worship the Lord Jesus Christ. And, to partake of the sacrament, the emblems of the Lord's last supper, which allow me to repent of my shortcomings and to commit to become a better, more Christlike person. By doing this every single week, I hope to progress and develop in to a better person.

Because thats the day set aside for them to go worship and learn.
They are taught from a very young age its when you go and you should go to be blessed for the rest of the week, etc.
No different than those taught to go on Saturdays or Wednesdays or whenever.
