Just relax your dog won't get sick from eating them, my dog Sage always catches/eats squirrel, and mice all the time, she would eat rats if there were any where I live. I should also mention that none of my dogs have their shots because there is no vet where I live.

Your dog should be fine. It would be rare for there to be a consequence to this unless the mouse was poisoned and by eating the mouse the dog ate poison. Just keep your dog up to date on shots and worming. I had a Blue Heeler mix that loved killing rats when he could catch one in a field. He'd take a bite out if it, but mostly just was cat-like in wanting to display his trophy.

Potentially, especially is you treat your house with mouse or rat poison. Many of these contain chemicals that prevent clotting of blood, so many animals will bleed into their abdomen, chest, joints, etc before dying. It's best to have it treated sooner than later. Some rodenticides are fast acting and some can take 2 weeks to see the effects. Depending on the type of rodenticide an antidote is given to counteract the chemical. Some will chelate calcium, some chelate vitamin K1.

Eating the animal may also cause pancreatitis, so watch out for any vomiting, diarrhea and loss of appetite.

We were outside moving a woodpile when we discovered a bunch of mice. My dog ate 5 of them like candy before we could grab her. No ill effects. In fact, she's always on the look-out for more of them to chow on. She pounces on them like the coyotes do. As the other posters said, the only concern is if there is poison around, then a visit to the vet would be a good idea.

I wuld just keep an eye on him. If the mouse hasn't eaten any mouse poison he should be fine . If the mouse did eat something you should quickly notice vomitting and lethargy.
My dogs have killed squirrels and possoms. Thay are just fine

Did he eat the mouse? Was there mouse poison around anywhere? If he didn't eat it, I don't see any cause to take him to the vet. My dog kills mice all the time but he doesn't eat them. I think he just scares them to death. Unless you think he may have ingested one and there was poison around, he should have to go to the vet.

I wouldn't worry unless he ate it or something. My dog killed a mouse (or was it a rat? no idea) (it was very gross) a few weeks ago and she was fine. She just slobbered all over the rat (it was really wet), and that was it.

i would be concerned as to whether or not the mouse had eaten any rat poison before the dog killed it.

did he eat the mouse? that would be my worry. you can always call the vet and ask them what they think. they may give you warning signs to look for before bringing him in.
