They do tend to have some health problems bc of the tiny breed. However, if she is a pup, she could be doing it for different reasons. This calls for obedience and discipline. If she is older, then she could have problems due to her age. If this is the case, you should have her checked by a vet. With it being in the same spot, it is likely not a medical problem. I had a chihuahua who did this to my little brother all of the time. He did not do it to anyone else. He even saw his picture on the bottom shelf of a book shelf and urinated on it also. It is likely something about your husband that is making her feel the need to do this. I disciplined my chihuahua and he never did it again. This is what I think your problem is. If you do not get it under control now, then it will be much harder later on.

I have chihuahuas and i think when they pee on the bed its either because they cant get down when they need to go or they smell the urine spot and think thats their pee spot. Also your chi could be mad at your husband for something. Theres some stuff at petco that has some sort of enzymes in it that you put in the wash that will get rid of any urine smell thats stuck in the blankets.

it's a dominance thing definately not with breed as there is no such thing as a mini chihuahua
Chihuahua standard is up to 6 pounds. So anything from 1 pound to 6 pounds is within teh standard. If it's over 6 pounds it's large for teh breed

it may have a special bond with your husband or he might make it nervous. we have a cat who will have to always be lying on my dads lap or be touching him somehow. she gets jealous when someone else goes near dad and if we talk to her she always meow's back. i think they just have a good friendship. and the pets are seen as another family member and forget they arent human.
i have a small dog too that should know better but when she gets excited or scared she wee's herself.
small pets= small bladder

I have a Chihuahua who has constantly had issues with tinkling a little when he gets excited. If your dog just started doing this you may want to have her checked to make sure she hasn't gotten a urinary tract or bladder infection.

Has your dog had an injury? Sometimes this is a sign of unseen back injury. If it is involuntary this is probably what it is. If it is voluntary, this is excitement or marking his territory. If involuntary see your vet ASAP.
