He was one of the 2 sons of An or Anu. He was known as Enlil and was adamant about destroying the human race that his brother, Enki had created. Enki loved his creation, Enlil hated us. We disturbed his afternoon naps. Enki gave knowledge to the humans. He woke us up from the slavery we were under. He has been falsely identified as the evil one when in fact it was Enlil or better known as Jehovah. You are right on 100%.

You're talking about Enki and Enlil... I've read the sumerian texts, (as much as I could find in english), and I never could understand why it was that Enki was somehow supposed to be the devil/trickster character... Enlil wanted and formed a massive brutal hierarchy over man and eventually turned this heirarchy over to man, (enlilship or "kingship" on earth), while enki felt that man, (though a slave race for his people basically), deserved to have freewill and be self empowered...

After the Flood, and man spread out through the earth. He forgot God and turned the creation into the creator. That is why God went personally to Abraham to bring Monotheism back to it's roots.God chose,Paul says ,the Jews to be His oracles(record keepers) because they fanatically kept His word straight.Whereas the others stretched it,changed it ,embellished it...the Hebrews kept it perfect to the point of obsessive compulsive. They may not have wrote it before the Summerians but they had the story right .Gilgamesh can kiss my rear.
