Okay....let's say you are a religious person and you believe that you are a moral person. Or we can even say you are an atheist, and you believe you are a moral person. Are you kind? Do you have empathy for others who are not just like you or maybe more unfortunate than you are? Do you have a conscience that you pay attention to? Do you allow yourself to do harm to others (when I say "harm" I don't mean physical harm, I mean to hurt or abuse someone verbally) because you think they aren't as important as you are or do not follow the same path that you do?

I may be an atheist, but I have ethics. Of course I am as kind as I can be. What I cannot be to any extent is generous, because my finances are very limited. But I try to be pleasant and compassionate, patient when someone needs time to explain things. I am as helpful as I can be without being a pest. I have had friends who are in wheelchairs, and I know that they want people to have a light touch about being "helpful."

I have good manners where it counts, although I'm not a snob and don't know all the intricacies of fine dining, or how to plan a rich person's wedding.

Actually, now that you mention it, I'm a pretty nice old hag!

I've been told that I am in real life. I don't personally think about it much. I have a conscience, yes. And sometimes, it depends on what they do to me first. I won't put up with being treated like dirt from ANYONE.

Why do idiot Christians seem to think that just because an Atheist doesn't believe in your particular brand of idiocy, they must not have any morals?

Use your brain, not your bible.

Yes, Yes, yes
No, I do not harm anyone.
I consider others to be important and usually treat them far better than I do myself.

I am kind daily... but not all the time. Kindness is very important to me... but I'm not perfect.

I am kind to people. I only verbally abuse if it's done to me.

I try to be kind, but I'm only human.

Sometimes, I lose it, when people "get my goat". (then THEY have to "feed it"!)

God is still working on me!
