Here is whats happening:
My daughter has been really fussy lately, more so than usual. At first we thought it was just a bug because she had a runny nose and diarrhea along with a few other things. We were completely convinced she had a belly ache even though she couldnt tell us that. Well things have been really wierd these last few days. Still diarrhea and boogers but she has started to poop out everything that she eats still in its whole form. I know that i should expect that from some foods like corn but I mean its everything. Apples, olives, chicken, its all whole when it comes out. Is this normal? Should i be worried? The BM problems could be their own seperate thing and the sinus thing its own but I'm starting to really worried because she isnt eating very much or drinking much. We have been giving her pedialyte and pediacare to keep her hydrated. Any ideas or advice?

Go to the doctors. I just saw a thing on TV where a girl had a strange disease where her body couldn't digest the food. All she needed was some medication and she's okay now.

It sounds like a stomach virus. With stomach viruses, sometimes the food is pushed through the tummy so fast that is doesn't have time to be digested. This is the body's normal way of ridding itself of the virus. You are doing the right thing by giving her pedialyte-we recommend one tsp every 20-30 minutes while she is awake. I would try her on the BRAT diet ( bananas, rice, apples, toast) in very small amounts. This will help to firm up the bowel movements. If she has more than 8 loose diapers in a day or her symptoms worsen or you have concerns of hydration I would take her in for a check up.

Good luck! Keep up the good work!

As long as she is up and about and eating and it lasts no more then 10 days its very normal and okay. Gross, but very normal to have a bout of gastroenteritis at this age (stomach flu). Keep pushing fluids - Pedialyte and Pediacare, water and more water. Pedialyte is the best, followed by water. Mostly you want to see her up and about almost as normal, if she is listless, has sunken eyes, sleeps and is hard to wake up - take her in to her doctor or even the ER for intravenous fluids.

And keep her away from other kids until this is over - no one likes it when their kid is this kind of sick. I can take colds, but gastroenteritis is just too much with all the poop.

My daughter went through that recently, too (she's 15 months also). It had never happened before except with corn and grapes, but suddenly it was everything. It lasted about a week or two and then she was back to normal. I think it may have been her teeth - she was getting molars in and I think she wasn't chewing her food like she normally did. Make sure you ask your doctor about it at the next appointment though.

definite, yet with some cautions. We took ours to the zoo for her 2nd birthday and it grew to become into purely half-hour away (we've achieved the aquarium too yet she grew to become right into slightly older). it may be desirable to have 2 different compassionate adults with you (so in case you could enlist a grandparent or a sturdy buddy) so there are greater people to entertain and toodle if/whilst issues circulate south. Plan to take issues fairly sluggish and anticipate to take a severe high quality destroy each and every hour or so for a snack and a relax simply by fact they gets drained - that's fairly thrilling and overwhelming to slightly one. additionally do no longer plan on staying a very long term. opportunities are high which you're purely going to get 2 or 3 hours out of them yet you need to get greater. We have been given 2 a million/2 hours on the zoo and 3 a million/2 on the aquarium. yet she theory it grew to become into the desirable element in the international whilst it lasted. so as long as your expectancies are life like, do it. As a area observe, mine is purely approximately 3 and he or she nonetheless thinks a visit to Petsmart (down the line) is the desirable element in the international. We in many circumstances spend approximately an hour and a 0.5 in there. they have fish, turtles, birds, hamsters, snakes, canine and cats, and then we purchase stuff for our own canine, cats, and fish.

That is NOT normal - and teething (as someone else suggested) doesn't cause your stomach to stop digesting food. She may have a nasty virus or bacterial infection - get her to the doctors pronto before it becomes an emergency.

That is not normal, you need to call her doctor first thing in the morning and get an appointment. She may have intestinal issues that need to be addressed quickly to make sure she's absorbing enough nutrients.

It could be a stomach bug. All that diarreah and everything running through her whole isn't normal. I would call the after hours doc and ask. Have you tried the BRAT diet (bananas, rice cereal, applesauce and toast)?
