well it is quite an age gap because u guys are both at different stages in life even though u are both teenagers,kind of stupid i know cause once u get to be adult status it doesn't matter anymore). there is however, an age of consent for any under age intercourse, here in North America you have to be 14 years old to consent to sex with someone older as yourself that's as far as i know. If you're parents are fine with it then the realtionship is ok if not but u really are into him, then stay with him because it's not too bad of an age gap. in a few years both of you will be fine and don't have to worry about the "age thing" I'll tell u something though kinda funny: jerry lee lewis, a famous singer from the fifties (i don't know if u have heard of him) anyway he married his 13 year old cousin and he was in his thirties, now that's a serious problem.lol what i'm trying to get at is that, there's worse things out there than a 14 year old girl dating an 18 year old guy. so be happy and good luck but make sure he treats u pretty well.

It's not illegal for you to date but it is illegal for you to have sex as you are a minor under the age of consent and he is an adult.

It's not illegal for you to date, it is illegal for you to have sex because you're a minor. He can be charged with statutory rape in some states even if you consent to sleep with him.

If both his and ur parents think its ok but if u r being sexually active then really I would think so. Even still it would be different if u want to do that stuff wit him.
