You should tell your neighbors to put them inside often because its not good to have them outside. I told my neighbors that they should bring their dogs in often so I think you should.

I have the same sort of problem except my neighbours dog barks all day. Especially when i go out to play fetch with our dogs and he winges even more. They never spend any time with him :( I gave him a bone the other night to shut him up and he was quiet for about 5 minutes. I have spoken to them about it and they haven't done anything either. Although i do know they feel bad when they hear me talking to him over the fence. Maybe that will work.

I have yet to figure out how to do this peacefully! We have neighbors that leave their dog out all of the time, especially at night, and they bark constantly! We have talked to them and they still do it. Check and see if you have a noise ordinance in your city and what it's limits are. A call to the police (anonymously) may be the trick...surely you are not the only neighbors that want the dog to be quiet! Good luck!

I'd probably call the police at night when the dogs were barking. When the police come because of a "disturbance" they don't give out names. My stepson's rescue dog barked during the day while he was at work, a neighbor called the police, he doesn't know who, they gave him a ticket.

Tell your neighbors if they don't start putting their dogs inside when they are barking you'll notify the police. That's the only way. You aren't going to be able to make the dogs be quiet.

because there's these people with 3 little neurotic poodles that WONT shut up! you can hear them barking INSIDE their house at night and theyre over 20m away!

i guess you just let their owners get fed up enough to fix it

My neighbors neighbor went and knocked on their door and asked them to please let their dogs in because their asking to come in and no one is listening and thats it`s hard to sleep knowing you can`t help them. ( "them" being the dogs that is).
Your neighbors can`t fault you for caring, unless their just *******.

I would ask the neighbours if they can do something with the dogs and if that doesn't work you might have to call the police.
